Philanthropy Events

In 1936 Delta Gamma began focusing on individuals with visual impairments and blindness through the Delta Gamma Foundation. Each year the Eta Delta chapter of Delta Gamma hosts events to raise awareness and money for Service for Sight, but our most well known event is Anchor Splash! Each year the UNF Greek community competes in a series of swimming races and dance competitions to help us raise money. In 2021 we were able to raise over $6000 at Anchor Splash alone!

Serving others has been a standard of Delta Gamma since our founders chose the motto "Do Good" in 1873. Something unique to the Eta Delta chapter of Delta Gamma is our opportunity to work with the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St. Augustine. Throughout the year we visit the school for volunteering with their events. Being able to work closely with these children is truly rewarding and something our sisters always look forward to.
